Collecting art onchain

“This book was written by collectors, for collectors - I’m just the messenger.”

About the Book

Collecting Art Onchain is the first book dedicated to the collectors who minted culture on the blockchain. Spanning 2014–2025, it presents exclusive interviews with 39 leading collectors, artists, and cultural thinkers. Published as part of the first analog-to-on-chain publishing platform, the project documents, preserves, and evolves the cultural history of Web3. Its inaugural release connects 101 utility tokens with 101 limited Collector’s Editions, each paired with a unique artwork by Manoloide Tecrrain.

39 collectors. 137 artists. One decade of on-chain cultural history.

  • #0 is featured on the analog book’s cover

  • Minted from the artist’s smart contract

  • Each NFT grants the right to claim the matching numbered physical book

How to collect

Collecting Art Onchain is a limited two-token edition that links on-chain provenance with a numbered, analog Collector’s Edition book.

Requirement: You must hold both tokens in the same wallet to receive the analog book.

For the Curious, the Credible, and the Cultured.

How it works (2-Token Edition)

Mint/Receive Book Token → locks your book number.

  1. Receive Tecrrain Artwork Token → the paired artwork for that number.

  2. Hold both tokens → qualifies you for the analog Collector’s Edition (numbered & signed).

Please do not trade either token until you receive the analog book, as the three components—Book Token, Artwork Token, and physical book—form one complete, numbered edition.

Collect the Book Token

Book Token #38 is now listed on OpenSea. If you decide to collect, Manoloide’s artwork will be airdropped to the wallet used for the purchase. Please also email us your shipping address so we can later send you the analog book.

FAQ

Do I need both tokens to get the book?
Yes. The Book Token and the Tecrrain Artwork Token together entitle you to the analog book.

Where can I view my tokens?
In your OpenSea profile. If you don’t see them, check Hidden and unhide.

Can I trade my tokens?
We strongly recommend waiting until you receive the analog book; the three parts form one numbered edition.

Who handles shipping?
Anteism (Montreal). We’ll share rates and timelines before shipments begin.
