A Landmark Publication on the Cultural Role of Art Collectors in Web3

A decade of digital art history through the voices of those who helped shape it. Written by Kate Vass, Collecting Art Onchain is the first publication to place collectors at the center of the evolving world of blockchain-based art.

Through in-depth conversations and curated visual narratives, the book offers a rare and personal glimpse into the motivations, challenges, and cultural insights of the early adopters who have helped define this space.

This publication explores the why behind collecting art on the blockchain, revealing a deeply human story of curiosity, conviction, and care for the digital cultural record.

The Collectors Edition of the book Collecting art Onchain is a landmark collaboration between acclaimed generative artist Manoloide and the project. Both limited to 100 editions only, this exclusive release features a long-form generative artwork created specifically for the Collector’s Edition of the book’s cover.

Each token in the series unlocks two collectibles:

·       The digital artwork – one of 100 unique outputs from Manoloide’s specially coded long-form algorithm

·       The analog Collector’s Edition book – with the artwork #0 featured prominently on the cover.

Manoloide’s long-form generative collection for the cover transforms the Collector’s Edition into a true artifact, with 100 unique iterations reflecting the book’s digital dimension and creating a deeply personalized piece for each owner.

The Collector’s edition book launch will debut in person during Marfa Weekend, October 16, 2025, accompanied by a gallery exhibition at Art Blocks.

We have partnered with publishing house Anteism for this edition release and the shipment options will be available worldwide and handled by Anteism exclusively.

A limited number of editions are available for pre-funding. Collectors who secure theirs now will receive their token — and guaranteed edition number of the book — before the public launch.

"Collecting art is not just about acquiring objects, but curating stories that preserve and amplify the voices of artists, turning art into a reflection of our shared human experience and zeitgeist ."
