Collecting art onchain
“This book was written by the collectors, for the collectors - I’m just the messenger.”-
Kate Vass
About the Book
Collecting Art Onchain is the first artifact of a broader vision: The Book On-Chain, an evolving system dedicated to preserving digital culture through a collective, on-chain memory. It’s about transforming how we think about art history in the Web3 era — not as a static archive, but as a living catalogue raisonné, authored by artists and collectors together.
Collector’s Edition Collecting Art Onchain is the first publication to start the dialogue with the collectors who minted web3 culture for the last decade.
Spanning from 2014 to 2025, it presents exclusive interviews with 39 collectors, whose vision has helped define web3 history.
Its inaugural release connects 101 utility book tokens with 101 limited Collector’s Editions, each paired with a unique artwork by Manoloide long-form collection Tecrrain on the cover.
39 collectors. 137 artists. One decade of shared history.

How to Collect
Collecting Art Onchain is a limited two-token edition that links on-chain provenance with a numbered, analog Collector’s Edition book.
Mint the Book Token on OpenSea → Secures and proves ownership of your edition number.
Receive your Tecrrain Artwork Token → A unique generative artwork by Manoloide, airdropped to the same wallet used for minting your Book Token.
Claim your analog book → Hold both tokens in the same wallet to claim your signed, numbered Collector’s Edition book.
Important: Please try not to trade either of tokens until you receive the analog book. All three components—the Book Token, the Artwork Token, and the physical book—form one complete artifact.
THE BOOK ON-CHAIN
Founded in 2025, The Book On-Chain reimagines how art history is written and preserved in the digital age. Conceived as a living catalogue raisonné for Web3 artists and collectors, it transforms the blockchain into a cultural archive — a space where context, provenance, and creative dialogue endure beyond markets and platforms.
By merging curatorial rigor with decentralized infrastructure, The BOOK seeks to build a collective system — one that values care over commerce, participation over possession, and stories, and context over speculation. Its mission is simple yet radical: to ensure that the art and ideas shaping this era remain accessible, verifiable, and alive for generations to come.
For the Curious, the Credible, and the Cultured.
