The NFT file is from the Charles Csuri retrospective international exhibition in 2006. This picture was showcased at “The Beyond Boundaries” exhibition and Siggraph in 2006 Featured in Art Dossier Italian Art magazine and IEEE Computer Graphics and applications in 1990 “Cosmic Matter” 89 is an iconic example of Csuri’s early development of artistic tools that pioneered the field of computer art and animation.

Charles Csuri is called “the Father of Computer Art and Animation by the Smithsonian magazine.” This cutting-edge image displays his concept and development of “texture Mapping” where he wraps his heavy impasto oil paint onto 3D objects and further fragments the objects to invoke the sense of animated paint flying through the air in the metaverse. Further, he uses an embossing technique long before image processing capabilities use in Photoshop. In this picture, Csuri combines his formal fine art training with his revolutionary technology.
