Collecting Art Onchain - Public Edition is a book that expands upon and derives from the original Collector’s Edition.
Through interviews with collectors, the book attempts to document one of the most important shifts in contemporary art and internet culture over the last decade driven by blockchain technology.
The Public Edition expands beyond the original Collector’s Edition with additional interviews, but excludes the extended contextual and narrative texts included in the Collector’s Edition, as well as the artwork and book token, which are available only to Collector’s Edition holders.
The presentation also differs significantly. The Public Edition comes in a smaller, more accessible reading format, while the Collector’s Edition was conceived as a gallery-format object with top-quality handmade production, premium papers, and a highly exclusive presentation.
